Marcus Buonfiglio and Chester Peterson are two of the finest martial artists and men of character I have the pleasure of knowing. The system they teach is effective, realistic, and proven on both the street and the battlefield. I also have 100% confidence in their integrity and honor.
I first met both of them in 2002 while they were assisting Grand Master Michael Pick train combatives to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Ft. Carson, Colorado. Since that time I have taken every opportunity available to train both with them and under their tutelage. They have been instrumental in shaping the Battlefield Combatives Course I designed and are currently key advisors to the Combatives Program at Ft. Bliss, Texas.

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting instructors Marcus Buonfiglio and Chester Peterson of Modern American Warrior as part of our annual defensive tactics training. To say that our officers were impressed with the knowledge and professionalism that Marcus and Chester demonstrated would be an understatement.
